Availability through a free API does not make an article free to republish. Text, images and the site’s own elements have separate rights.
Wikinews text
Licensed articles are reproduced with their source, contributors and a link to the relevant licence. Wikinews identifies CC BY 2.5 for older material and CC BY 4.0 for material after its 16 December 2024 licence change. Always check the source’s current terms and the individual article before reusing it.
Images have separate licences
Image credit and licence information appear beside ordinary cards and on the article page. A photo may use CC BY, CC BY-SA or public-domain terms even when the text uses another licence. Creator requirements, change notices and any share-alike conditions follow the image.
Your onward use
Attribute the original publisher or creator, not just Norway90. Preserve required notices, link to the licence and identify changes where its terms require this. Logos, trademarks, depicted people and other protected interests may need separate assessment; an open copyright licence does not settle every right.
Rights concerns
If a credit or licence is wrong, send the card URL, original work and evidence identifying the correct rights holder. We can assess correction, image replacement or removal of our copy. Contacting us does not transfer rights to Norway90.
